"The Block House exceeded expectations. The staff was so friendly, it felt like staying at a dear friend’s house, a really nice house, like the house from Parasite. Every morning, the staff prepared a beautiful western breakfast and every afternoon, tea and cake. On our last day, we had to leave early and the staff prepared our breakfast ‘to go’ and placed it in our fridge. One of the best overnight experiences we’ve had due to the attentiveness of the service."

It's just 3 minutes drive from the town center, where loads of local food and drinks are available. The hosts are friendly and very considerate. "The service was exceptional. The check in staff were extremely attentive and personable. The free breakfast buffet was delicious and different day to day. The complimentary bike rental allowed us to easily explore the lakefront. The property is on an ecological center and there were daily sightings of monkeys around the property which was a highlight. Hotel arranged free taxi to and from the bus station which was slightly over 1 mile away. Would definitely stay here again. "
