Kommen gerne wieder!
Erfrischend abgelegen vom Tubel der Stadt, dennoch per Tuck bestens erreichbar, ist das Great Wall Tourist Rest ein idealer Ausgangspunk für Unternehmungen in Anuradhapura. Das Gebäude besitzt einen englisch-kolonialen Stil mit großzügiger Terrasse zum wunderschönen Garten. Die kleinen Zimmer sind klein, teilweise mit AC ausgestattet, mit hübschem Bad und (dank Durchlauferhitzer) immer warmem Wasser. Überaus herzlich geführt erhält man hier (auf Wunsch) Frühstück UND Abendessen, international oder original srilankisch. Ein toller Ort! Einzig eine tägliche Reinigung der Zimmer im Service wäre super. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Amazing place lovely family
A very warm welcome from our charming host. Excellent meals breakfast as well as dinner. WiFi very good. Room was rather small but outside lot of space. We would definitely return to this place.

Door familie gerund schoon en rustig hostel met vijf kamers
Heerlijke rustige plek in Anuradhapura. Klein familie hostel aan de noordzijde van de stad. Prima uitvalsbasis voor de tempels en de bezienswaardigheden in de oude stad. Niet voor mensen die in de drukte van het stadscentrum willen verblijven. Schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en vers, ook kun je genieten van door de gastvrouw thuis gekookte maaltijden. Door de nabijheid van rijstvelden word je rond zonsondergang op de veranda wel belaagd door muggen. Vraag dan om een anti-muggen kaars.

Clean and friendly hotel
Hotel was a pleasant find. A bit out of the way but once we found it there were no problems. Nice verandah and garden to relax in. After a long hot day walking around we appreciated coming back to cool and relaxing environment. Wifi connection was good. Hotel provided meals but we only ate there once as we felt they were overpriced and westernised. Nice shower and bathroom.

Beautiful stay
We loved our few days stay and a great relief to be out of air conditioning and into some fresh air. The guest house is new and well presented. The family are beautiful and serve the most exquisite Sri Lanka food on the balcony. The area is near to the ruins and the station although it is in a garden setting.
