"The hotel is amazing ! We took the junior suite and was better than expected. The room was specious, clean and a jacuzzi too. We had the view on the pool which was great. The staff , the manager was super lovely...alway there to please you...and we had a good laugh with the 2 gents at the bar 😉 thank you. The food was also very very nice. I highly recommend that hotel you will not be disappointed...."

"Very nice, quiet and friendly hotel with individual chalets. Located off the main road but within easy reach of restaurants along the road. The staff are very warm and welcoming and the restaurant food very nice. Very good value stay in all respects. "

"This was one of the most friendly hotels that we have stayed in for a long time. All of the staff seem to have a genuine interest in making sure that we had a good time and made the most of our stay in Sigiriya. They also organised a couple of trips for us - to Polonnarua and an elephant safari. The first of these was a fascinating day visiting a former capital of Sri Lanka and the second was an afternoon seeing more than a dozen different herds of elephants, some of them just a few metres away from us. Both of these trips were excellent value. However, what makes this place Extra Special is certainly the friendliess of the staff. And the home-cooked food is also of excellent quality. For such a warm welcome this place is very good value and highly recommend recommended"

"Overall the experience was great, the only feedback I would give is that one of the staff members tried to charge me 1000 rupees to play on the pool table for an hour, which I think wasn’t think was fair. The pool table is located right by the bar where people are already purchasing drinks, and to be charged to play pool I Personally don’t agree with. Other than that, the hotel and breakfast was great! "

"Very nice location and great resort. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Rooms are very nice and quiet (rate thing in Sri Lanka!). Buffet breakfast incredible. We really enjoyed dinner too."
