"For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"Rober and his wife are very kind and supportive and gave us a lot of hints for locations to visit. The perfectly clean house provides everything we needed during 9 days for a comfortable stay, especially as we prepared our own meals. While Gorliz is a suburb of Bilbao (approximately 50 minutes on metro to Plentzia) & w/o a car one must ride a bus to this location (8-10 min.-get off at Aldai) or a 30 min. walk), it’s a lovely town to walk around. "Property is facing the river and the promenade, which is a nice aspect of the city. The hotel is across the water from the Guggenheim in Bilbao, and the stunning Zubizari bridge is directly outside the hotel.
