A SouthWestRocksAccommodationholiday offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day living. South West Rocks is a small coastal town on the mid north coast situated near the mouth of the Macleay River. By car approximately 5 hours from Sydney or Brisbane. South West Rocks offers 8 beautiful white sandy beaches, a modern Country Club with bowling greens, 18 hole golf course and tennis courts. Some of the best scuba diving in Australia, the Seabreeze Hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Riverside Tavern on the bank of the Macleay River. Within the Arakoon State Recreation area is the historical Trial Bay Gaol and the popular Trial Bay Kiosk - a great place for breakfast, lunch or tea. There are many small shops including great cafes and restaurants in the centre of town as well as a Coles shopping centre on the edge of town.

Linen is not supplied in this holiday letting. You will need to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea towels & tablecloths, etc. You also need to provide your own toilet paper, soap & dish washing liquid, etc. If you do not wish to bring linen, you will receive contact details for the linen hire firms in your confirmation email.

Relaxing getaway
The house was really comfortable,with great views and breezes available. Area is laid back with roos everywhere, great Birdlife and saw whales and dolphins. Loved it

5 days local kangaroos birds etc quiet area.
Older style house no wifi smart tvs etc.which didnt worry us.clean inside. There is no ac so in summer could be an issue.value for money. Only thing i would recommend to owner would be a bbq on the deck or little weber.thankyou.

Pleasant location
Nice location close to bush and beach and reasonable value for money given the ridiculously expensive accommodation prices for Australian holidays lately. Only issue is the 9am checkout through SWR accomodation in which the keys have to be back to the office by that time which is a little early considering most places are 10am checkout. But staff are friendly.

House was very untidy with hardly any utensils, plates or cups, Light in entrance to house does not work, no bbq, oven not clean, large gap under front door in which lots of mosquitoes where getting in. Very poor for what we paid for the week!!

Fridge, door, laundry
Need sign on fridge advising guests to not put freezer on maximum. Control in freezer is a valve, not a thermostat. Thus maximum setting means fridge not supplied w/cold air. Washing machine, whilst new, wanders around the floor, pulls pipe out of sink, and thus floods laundry. Need hook, or door stop for internal entrance door, at top of stairs, otherwise in any wind the door slams shut. Otherwise fine, except no ice cube tray?
