I took my elderly parents and young son up for a pre- Christmas weekend of tubing and skiing at Snowbowl and to say this was the PERFECT home base for everyone is an understatement. Luxurious enough to satisfy my parents and rustic enough to make my son happy. "Had a wonderful weekend at this cute, little cabin! We fit three adults, a 3 year old, and two dogs just fine. We spent most of the time outside searching for animals and hiking. The owner responded quickly to any questions and check in/check out was a breeze. Will definitely stay at this location again. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at Rainbow Lake. Thank you Steven for letting us keep the boat right there on the shoreline for easy access during our stay. The room was comfy but the pillows were super hard!! LOL. After we found the extra pillows we were OK. The common area was absolutely perfect! We met the neighbors and had a community fire in the pit on our last night. Thank you again and we will DEFINATELY be back to visit."

The location is fantastic—close enough to stores and points of interest for convenience, but tucked away in the mountains for a peaceful, wooded experience. One area for improvement would be the cleanliness. We noticed some dishes needed rinsing before use due to being dirty or dusty, and there were a few cobwebs...

"Overall, this is a very nice place but the listing requires updating to accurately portray the "Over-the-Garage" build (pictures did not portray) and also requires maintenance/cleaning that has been noted by other guests in the past. The second stair going to the loft is set too far back and our son fell when going down the stairs the first time, also noted in another review as safety hazard. Numerous loose pavers in the steps that require attention. The amount of dust on the ceiling fans was...
