"Location was excellent, the rooms were small but that is to be expected in Tokyo. The rooms can be a little dusty by the window area but otherwise, no complaints. Staff were friendly and helpful. Morning coffee in the lobby is excellent. "

Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (249)
"This is the BEST place I have stayed in among my 4 visits to Japan! I will come here again in my next visit! I was able to walk around Sensoji Temple in early mornings and nights. So many dining options. Only need to take 1 train from Narita Airport to hotel that took about 1 hour only. So easy to go to other areas within Tokyo and even Nikko. Staff are all very accommodating and helpful. Rooms are large for Tokyo's accommodation standards. Great amenities! Great onsen experience! I booked this...

Unizo INN Tokyo Asakusa

2.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (583)
"The room was small, but the furnishings were really old and battered. Space can really be better planned - EG put the TV on the wall., to give a bit more space on the desk. The bedspread/doonacover is in very poor condition. The taps in the bathroom are leaking. We are staying for 4 nights - room might be OK for one night"
