"The beds are super comfy and the amenities are pretty good. The shower is super hot and a great shower head! It is walking distance of everything and the breakfast is a great healthy option. The only down side was there was no help in getting back to the train station with all of our luggage. We were told that we had to walk. I would be aware of this if mobility is an issue."

"I understand Toyoko Inns are not five star luxury hotels but I was still a tiny bit disappointed at how basic the facilities were. The room was tiny but they made good use of the space. "This hotel is close to the train station, about a 5-10 minute walk. Check in was easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was about a 10 minute walk north from the hotel to get to an area with interesting restaurants and shops. I also like that you can book a room with a washing machine, although I didn't not do so myself. If I visit Matsumoto again, I would definitely look to stay here."
