"When we arrived we were upgraded to a rooftop suite with hot tub, the room was absolutely fabulous, we were shown around all the facilities and then left to enjoy our stay, all the staff were very attentive nothing was to much, very friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend this hotel! Breakfast was amazing, we did venture into the spa not that we needed to as we had a hot tub but the clientele was not the best bit rowdy for our liking! There were a few issues with the room I was in. The aircon didn’t work. There was a bathroom hook missing to hang the towel. "A beautiful old building. Stunning views. The staff were amazing every one of them, could not do enough for you, anticipated needs before we had them. The food was stunning although rich and fancy, be nice to have lighter options. Could have been warmer but the fires were on and all radiators all the time and it was in the minus numbers in a very old house so it’s forgiven. "

"My stay was great from the moment I got checked in by Persia who was lovely and even offered to see if the kitchen would prepare me something even though they had just closed. After my long journey from London it was a very good welcome. My room had a beautiful window with a view of the Lake and the mountains. The rest of the staff from the bar to the restaurant was really accommodating and kind. It’s within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, cinema and the lake of course. "
