"Some things may be a little outdated in the Nara Visitor Center & Inn but it is the best bang for your buck in town & the staff was outstanding - so friendly & helpful! I’m so glad we decided to spend a couple of days in Nara instead of just doing it as the day trip that it is so often marketed as. "This place was very cool. Every floor has a different theme/color scheme and the rooms were big and bright. Most places I've stayed in Japan so far have been pretty mundane, but this place definitely works hard to be different and nice. Glad they had a few laundry machines as well. I'd stay again anytime"
