"Great, central location in Ireland. Could drive to Galway, Clanmacnoise, Rock of Cashel, Burren, Dublin area easily and be back. All within two hours, some even 20 minutes. Parking great and walked to pubs, music, groceries, etc. 8 family including kids. Kids loved the loft area and family loved main dining/living area. Beds basic and comfortable, price was great for family budget! Thanks Sean!"

"The hotel is ideally located, with superb views over the river Shannon. The check-in staff were very accommodating & efficient and the bar/restaurant staff were equally proficient. The hotel is displaying areas requiring a little TLC, however, during our stay decorators were working towards improving the overall standards & appearance. In our opinion, the hotel offers excellent value for money. We would recommend the Radisson for anyone visiting Athlone and the surrounding areas. "

A Beautiful Castle

"Had a wonderful stay at Moyvannan Castle. Truly a unique experience. The book on the history of the castle lets you almost feel like you are back in time. All the rooms are beautifully furnished. Kitchen is well stocked for almost any cook. Huge dining room. Bedrooms spacious. The circular staircase in the turret is a little tight but a lift makes it easy to get up to the top bedroom (it was built a long time ago). The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor seating area is perfect. You are out in the country and wake to the sound of bleating sheep!! When we arrived Joan was there to meet us and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!!"

"We love this hotel and we stay there at least once a year. The staff are very friendly and the food and accommodation is first rate. We also like the spa and gym. The only thing that did not seem to be happen was the point addition for 'The Club' scheme which staff did not seem to be aware of. One of them told me that the scheme was ending this month although I do not rememeber being notified of this. "
