"Love the balcony. Everything was comfortable and clean. All the staff was friendly, helpful.
But was disappointed in the cable. The UK game (state team) was playing and could not get it on tv. No local channels at all. "
"The Lodge room was big, with a large balcony overlooking the lake. The room deco was early 1990's and was clean and looked in new condition. Was very nostalgic and very comfortable and again clean. I highly recommend the lodge and will definitely be back!"
"The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfortable. Great location to shopping and lots of options on places to eat. We were very pleased with our stay. "
"Room was very clean. Great accomodations for a larger family like mine (2 adults, 4 kids, 2 under 2). We also had enough to set up the bassinet and move freely about. Beds were comfortable. Liked the full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on the wall. Really good for forgetful people like myself. The kids love the pool. We stayed to ride out a storm with strong tornado potential and was happy to find they have a firm plan if one was to hit. Definitely staying there again!"
"One of the better motels I've visited over the last couple of years. Not in the most-scenic location, but in terms of things the operators could control, about the only disappointment was that the continental breakfast had no protein (i.e., meat or eggs). I'd definitely stay here again."
"The 2025 reviews were good but the 2024 ones scared me but we took a chance. Us and our two kids stayed for one night and had a great time. The room was great for $70, clean enough. The check in was so fast and the front desk girl was too sweet. The room doesn’t smell, the heat was great, water was hoootttt, fridge was cold, we enjoyed. "

5/5 Excellent
Real deal log cabin
"This cabin is very cool. THe view on the water was amazing for sunsets. My family of 6 played cards and appreciated the games there.
Amenities are nice. Coffee maker and Keurig both available.
We came at a time (October) when many of the restaurants and places seemed to close down because this is a lake town, so restaurants were scarce and had shorter hours, but we found the Burger Barn (delicious) on the lake across the bridge into the LBL, and the next night we drove about 30 min up to Grand Rivers, which had putt putt golf, shops and some places to eat.
We also used the fitness center that is a 5 min drive and played pickle ball and tennis. Could have swam and used some weight machines, but chose not to. They were very nice and accomodating at the fitness center once they discovered we were guests here. "
