"I took my boyfriend here for 2 nights so we could celebrate his birthday in austin. We absolutely loved the atmosphere and aesthetic of the downright hotel. the front desk service was very helpful and friendly the whole time as well. parking at the hotel (and anywhere downtown austin) was expensive, but most of what we did was walking distance from the hotel so it didnt damper the experience. We loved our stay and would be excited to visit again sometime"

"Great location as it is close to everything. Walking distance to most attractions, which is key. Parking is expensive, but you will find that anywhere in Austin. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very good, but nothing exceptional. Ours was clean, well kept, had a coffee maker, fridge (but no microwave), and pretty much all you need w no frills. Would stay again. Did not try the bar or restaurant, cause there are better options just steps away. But we did heard good things...
