"The property is located in Uvita which is a small quite area. The beach is not that easily accessed. The actually property was less than advertised. There are centipedes galore... I would go on a centipede hunt every night to remove them from the condo... and there were two cockroaches in the condo. "Starting off from after I booked and paid. There was no communication from the owner about how to check in. I messaged them on WhatsApp multiple times on my way there and gave me no response. I called and he messaged me a vague response of how the unit is on the third floor. Asked if the place was unlocked and he said yes. But the unit was locked and there was lockbox had to call him back twice to finally get the lockbox code. There was blood on a towel in the bathroom and they wouldn’t replace...

"A nice house that has fallen into disrepair. No response to maintenance requests, couldn’t take a proper shower in the luxurious bathroom because the shower head blew apart from air & water pressure. Then had no water at all the following day due to a problem in a downstairs unit. This is hardly a resort as they call it. And access to the beach is incorrect and not honored by the management of that property."

"Good location between Ojochal and Uvita. Driveway into property not well marked, especially at night. Some deep ruts at turn into driveway, so be careful if not in SUV. Mono is a big unit, with nice balcony. Unfortunately, lack of screens on windows keeps it from cooling in afternoons and during the night. Nice A/C for the bedroom. Pro tip: you can walk to Villa Leonor at Ballena Beach Club. For the price of lunch or dinner, you can access Playa Ballena, one of the nicer beaches in the area."
