"My partner and I stayed for 4 nights and loved it! It was a good location for exploring the castles in Northern Wales as well as Snowdonia National Park. It rained part of our trip but we were able to watch two beautiful sunsets from the house and walk by the sheep farms that are all around. The hosts were great with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend for a peaceful stay."

"Lovely and clean little cottage with open fire. Only 10 mins walk to a beautiful beach and 6 mins walk to train station - then 10 minutes train journey to Barmouth which is a lot quicker than the drive around the estuary. Great location for walks in the hills or on beaches. Host was wonderful - got in touch to explain checking in and recommended local places to visit and eat."

The host was available to answer questions and also allowed us to leave at our leisure which made such a difference when showering/dressing needs extra time. "We had a fabulous week here in September, much helped by superb weather. Its impossible to review the cottage without mentioning the wonderful view across the river towards Cader Idris through the huge living room window. Our dog spent a lot of time gazing out of it at the sheep. The accommodation feels very spacious, you have all you need and bed was extremely comfortable. "Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely traditional cottage. The village is lovely, you can buy your essentials from the village shop (Post Office). The cottage is well situated within the village and there are lovely walks nearby. Although the weather was brilliant, the nights were getting chilly so we welcomed the log burner which kept us nice and cosy. The host was on hand with information about the area and advised us about the best places to visit in this beautiful part of the country....

"Wonderful location. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed apart from a tin opener. Some of the baking trays were well worn. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was an issue and on arrival in the village a very rude woman told us there was only parking for their guests and nowhere for anyone else. "
