"Roger & Alisha are amazing hosts, so friendly and helpful. Alisha even took my wife for medical treatment as she was unwell and then refused any payment. "We had a terrific time at royalton hideaway. We stayed for 6 nights. I really do t understand the low ratings I read before arriving. Most of them seemed pretty petty. The staff was ver helpful, we stayed hideaway diamond club. The Butler service was very helpful, the pool bar tenders at the hideaway were excellent. Good gym. "This was an excellent trip. First, I would like to mention that our housekeeper, Carmella, would leave us nice little notes every day, and would grant our request for extra needs in our room. The room was always clean, and we had no problems. Every day, when we would get back to our room, it looked like the first day we arrived. That was much appreciated. There were 2 very special people in Guest Services - Tara and Gaielle - who were very nice, courteous and helpful during our stay. The Nexus excursion staff were great as well. I also received a massage at the spa from Kenya, and she was really good. I left there feeling refreshed and re-energized. We went on an 8-hour excursion along the western coastline, and made stops at the waterfall, the sulfur mud baths, lunch, and then, snorkeling. My daughter and some of the members of our family also did the jet ski excursion. They really enjoyed themselves. The food was decent but was really good at the buffet on New Years Eve, where they served lobster, crab, oxtails, seafood, and plenty of desserts. Also, a shout out to Clint Westwood - our chef at Zen restaurant. Not only was he very entertaining and included the whole family (17 of us) in his "show," but the food he prepared was the best on the resort. Lastly, I would like to say that the New Years Eve celebration was really nice! It was the perfect way to bring in the new year. We have considered making this a yearly trip."
