"We loved the Greenfield Lodge for many reasons. Mainly, it gave us a chance to experience Ireland outside a city setting. It is a peaceful, beautiful setting right off a lake. The Chef was our favorite. Each morning, he prepared a breakfast from scratch based on exactly what we wanted. He is very talented and kind. "

Clós Na Feirme
3.0 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (7)
"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

Luxury renovated old Irish cottage
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (15)
"The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

Odie's Lodge: The Lodges @ Kilbeg Pier
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"Odie’s Lodge was perfect for us. It was situated just a bit north of Galway and has amazing scenery as you drive through the roads. The host was very polite and had wonderful communication. The property was easy to find with a link the host sent as we arrive late at night and in the dark. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had plenty of clean dishes to use. Definitely a place we would stay at again! "

"Being near the lake, this lodging had a lot of humidity inside. It was a blessing to have nice hot water, good water pressure, and control of the room thermostat. It was also an added benefit to have a modem to enjoy streaming tv. We met Neil and he had some helpful suggestions for driving in the area "

Quiet Family Room - 5 Minutes From Moycullen Village
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (8)
"Àine and her family were amazing and so welcoming! She was quick to help us out with tips about the town, and where to get some much needed take-away after a long day of travel. The room was cozy and private, and the bath was restful. She also made us a delicious packed breakfast that we took with us and ate as a picnic on the cliffs of Moher. Lovely stay, will definitely be back!"
