"We had our daughters christening here and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. Tara from reception was so kind and friendly, my 3 year old loved her, she kept wanting to back to the reception.
The rooms were clean and spacious, there was an issue with the shower—it wasn’t providing hot water at the time of the stay. However, this problem was outweighed by our positive experience with the staff, who were so kind and welcoming. Overall experience was good because of the staff's friendliness"
"Everything about the Lynwood House was wonderful! The room was beautiful, with a sitting area and a brand new on suite bathroom. There was a kettle for tea, a hair dryer, and a television. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views from the room are unmatched. Peter was so warm and welcoming, providing a bit of history and directing us to the best places in the town. We'd be glad to return on a future trip!"
"I loved being on the water, with easy parking underneath the hotel. The breakfast was amazing and worth the extra money. We stayed during off season, but I loved opening our window to smell the sea air. I also lo ed the close proximity to the Cobh Heritage Centre and the Titanic Museum. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. "
"Dee checked me in and provided all the info I would need for my stay. Later, I was invited to join a reunion of Dee's friends. We had a lovely evening of conversation, laughs, singing, and music. I felt right at home. "
"Kevin and Craiy are fantastic hosts. Warm and friendly, and helpful. Like all their staff.
Breakfast was partly self-service and partly table service. All excellent. Great choice too.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. Daily service too.
Walking distance to everything, with onsight parking.
Views from the hotel across the harbour are magnificent.
Kevin was helpful and pointed out places to visit nearby or just relax."
"Very welcoming and one of the
Most beautiful places I've ever been. We found the lift /elevator challenging but we probably would have gotten used to it if we had stay more than a night "
"Another amazing stay, use this hotel everytime i visit Cork. Rooms large, clean with all.you would expect, tea, coffee, safe, iron and ironing board. Good wifi.

" The staff is Excellent!! The hotel is in great shape. It is easy to find you way to around. I really must say the hotel staff goes beyond what you would experience at a regular hotel. Sam at the check in, helped me out on a daily basis answering questions with the hotel and the surrounding area. The manager, I forgot his name was excellent and beyond helpful. I would stay here every time I needed a place in Midleton. Thank you and your staff

"Our overall stay was really good, i was extremely disappointed on checki. In , i paid for a triple room and was given a double room with 1 bed, as there were 3 of us including 15yr old boy when i requested the room i had booked i was told there were no triple rooms left and was given a fold up bed , which was not suitable for the size of the 15yr old"
"Elegant and charming hotel. Front desk staff, concierge, bar keep, and restaurant staff all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only negative is the hotel parking is about 6 blocks away, and if you are arriving or departing during busy times there is no where to safely pull over to load/unload your vehicle. But parking garage safe and easy. Breakfast spectacular. "

"Great 3 days at this property! The main entrance was under construction during our stay but it didn't bother us at all. The rooms have all been updated, they were very clean, all 4 adults were comfortable and felt safe. The breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown Cork. There is very limited parking in front of the hotel, we dropped off our luggage at the hotel, parked in a downtown parking garage and walked the 10 minutes back. The only caution is that the hotel is on a hill. If you have anyone with mobility issues, this could pose a problem with the amount of walking uphill."
