"The hotel is by the beach, which is why we booked it. The beach itself is not swimmable but that was expected. The problem is that nothing was well maintained. The pool bed were very dirty and couldn’t be used. We used the pool and couldn’t lay down as the mattresses were very dirty. It’s a pity as the hotel has potential. It just needs a lot better maintenance."

"I enjoyed my stay at Mont Talay. It is in a great location with a clear view of beach and sea. It is walkable everywhere in Prachuap. The room is basic but it is a great price & has adequate provisions for a short stay. Could do with some refreshing & renovations. Overall, I would recommend if you want a cheap place to stay in an ideal location & don't have high expectations of room amenities. "
