I have traveled extensively both for work and for pleasure. My husband and I both agree that our experience staying for 3 days at The Peninsula in Bangkok was simply a notch above all of the other places, including in the US, at which we have stayed. The hotel, including our room, the restaurants, the outdoor pool, and waterfront, is beautiful, and the personal service of the staff was impeccable. We particularly enjoyed the convenience of the complimentary water shuttle, paddle board Yoga, jazz music in the evening and afternoon tea by the Christmas tree. We will definitely stay at The Peninsula on our next trip to Bangkok.

The property is absolutely beautiful, feels like a resort & is extremely convenient in location. The pool & outdoor dining areas make this hotel stand out amongst the others & the boat shuttle service is such a great way to get around. It’s right on the river, next to shops & plenty of restaurants. The rooms are elegantly decorated & very clean though outdated. We found it difficult to charge our phones & electronics. There also seemed to be a glitch in their electricity & the lights & curtains in our room would flicker on & off at random times in the night & day. The staff are exceptional & went out of their way with every request & upgraded our room when the issue with the electric could not be fixed.
