"Shunde is a bustling place, but this hotel is in the quieter part. Hotel is outstanding, if only American Holiday Inn’s could hit this mark. "It was a short business trip to Guangzhou. The front desk and reception service was excellent. As a foreigner, I have difficulty in arranging a taxi. The staff (Wechat nick name La La) help me to book a taxi each time I needed one. The hotel location is excellent as it is very near to subway station and a big shopping mall. Thank you. "

"I'm sorry that I didn't take photos. The size of the rooms are really nice. My room's chair and bench seat had horrible large stains room 2208. The phone was very dusty. The hallway carpet were never vacuumed during my 5 day stay there, lots of lint on the entire hallway. The bellman won't help unless you ask, they also don't help you with luggage. I put dnd light on but they knocked and insisted on bringing in towels. I stayed there because my friend lives nearby and the price is reasonable....

"Excellent "no frills" place to stay. Meddle of the old town, Plenty to shop, dine and see around. Is an old 2 story Hotel, verry cheap but room was good, clean, AC works, no TV. (I did not miss it, I collapsed in the first 30 seconds after so much walking at the Canton Fair)."

"The absolute worst ever. First Hotel.com use Google Maps and as such is not accessible in China. As such, you have no idea where the property is located. This one is 20 KM from the advertised location. I spend another $20 on 2 different taxies because they do not include the address in Chinese also. When I arrive no English at all just poor phone translation. No record of reservation. have to call manager (witch was home!) 20 minute later they found it!
