"More of an apartment than a hotel room, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room, and even a small kitchen. Courtyard setting was very welcoming. Extremely friendly staff. No food or bar available but you’re welcome to bring in if you wish. Just a few steps from the French Market and 1/2 mile from Jackson Square, but not bothered by any noise from Bourbon Street."

"I have never stayed in a facility where there was no person at the front desk after around 7:00. There was a phone # to call and she showed up in 6 minutes and was ready to help. We enjoyed our stay. It has a small courtyard that is a great place to sit and rest after walking in the French quarter all day. If you have others in your group it would be a great place to gather before the next adventure out."

I signed up for a swamp and plantation tour, and the tour operator also offers bus pick up right at the hotel door. The staff is friendly and helpful.
