"Madreselva was so lovely I wanted to move in!! It’s rustic but comfortable. The rooms are set around a central patio with tables chairs and sofas, and filled with tropical plants which give a cool ambience at any time of day. The staff are all lovely (special thanks to Alba who quickly responded to queries before and during our stay). Even the other guests were pleasant and friendly. We’ll definitely be back, next time for longer. "

"Location was great being right on the beach however we could only see a slither of sea from our room. Room was very clean and kitchen was well equipped except no kettle. Bathroom had no toiletries and not enough toilet paper for our 2 night stay. It was very clean though. No hairdryer either. Room had heating/air con but as it was winter we used heating but couldn’t get temp right as it was too hot regardless of temperature so we were always too hot or too cold. "Horrible just horrible. No checkin instructions. No staff on site. Everything closed on arrival. Emergency number did not answer. Its not in barbare at all. 20 minutes drive iver the nointains and then diwn a track past back yards to find it. 8pm they responded go to another hotel to collect key. Real disaster, avoid."

"The villa and casita housed four couples and four young children easily. The bathrooms and showers were excellent.The air conditioning and large wooden propeller ceiling fans kept both places cool. The pool is larger than it appears in the photo and was very popular with everyone. A massive pergola ,fully cushioned and pillowed, was a wonderful place to read or snooze in the heat of the day. "Lovely accommodation in a quiet, rural setting, just 5 minutes walk from amazing beach and sunsets. We really enjoyed our stay and had a very peaceful and relaxing time. Many thanks to Margarita who was there to meet us and answered all our questions. The house was lovely and clean and well furnished as shown in the photos. We would definitely recommend and hope to return soon."
