We really liked staying at the Sehrs Carlit, It was easy to walk to la familia sagrada as well as the gothic district. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants in the area as well.

We loved the Carlit! The ladies at the desk were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy and the area is very walkable (pedestrian friendly). It’s close enough to all the action but far enough to be out of the main hustle and bustle. When we come to Barcelona again, we will definitely stay here.

The rooms are clean and nicely presented with effective air conditioning (it was very hot during our stay and we were very grateful to go back to a lovely cool hotel). Very impressed with the buffet breakfast, there was a great selection on offer - our 14 year old daughter was in her element!

We initially thought we’d lost a hat. The staff reviewed their video and showed us that my hubby wasn’t wearing the hat upon arrival- that was so kind and very detailed of them, accommodations and food were great. Unfortunately the hotel can have lots of outdoor noise, cars, shouting, morning work on the property.

Room was clean, and air conditioner was available. The windows are through the center, which obviously had no sun light coming from outside. The window above bathroom(was high enough so no one can see from outside) doesn't have the curtain or blinder, letting the corridor's light to room. Service was great. Have elivator. Hotel front door had to be open with the room key, and the same goes for the elevator. Breakfast was good. Fine coffee and freshly squeezed oragne juice was on the menu. Room doesn't have the refrigerator, so the waters or other drinks should be stay in room temperature. About 20 min walk to casa batillo, and the train station was 10min walk. Neighbor was safe

The location is excellent in the city with easy access to Metro and Buses taking me to most tourist attractinons within 20 min. The area is safe and with many resturants & cafes nearby. The only complaint is the room is small.

A really bad experience. Our room was really hot and humid, and the ventilation was off and couldn’t be turned on. We had to sleep with the (very little) windows wide open just to bring room temperature to an acceptable level and deal with humidity. That only added more noise but the property overall barely has any noise insulation. The staff were a combination of not helpful and not willing to help either. The man at the reception had what sounded like a script of “we are at 100 percent occupancy and there’s nothing I can do” (it’s Jan 11th in Barcelona and they have various hotels). He called his supervisor and all she was wondering is through which platform we made the booking, as if it made any difference. Just a dehumidifier or a fan could have solved it, which we suggested, but they were just not willing to provide a decent service. I asked to speak with the supervisor myself and was ignored. Avoid if you can.
