"The place is absolutley perfect just one thing let it down and that was the bathroom!!! very disappointing as we’d stayed at 2 hotels prior and the bathrooms had walk in showers, shame as that would of made the hotel 100% will return in the hope there’s a walk in shower "

"Excellent Period property. As an older building we were unsure what to expect but it’s immaculate throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and we were delighted to be checked in 3 hours prior to the arranged time. Couldn’t be more conveniently located a minute walk from the castle and the Main Street where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. They don’t have onsite parking but there is a very safe pay and display car park 3 minutes walk away which was only £14 for 24 hours. That’s much cheaper than any other city hotel I’ve ever been to. We will be back. We really enjoyed our stay and the city. "

"Quirky little pub next door to main bar and restaurant, long wait at times for drinks as only 1 member of staff on so had to go to the pub bar to order drinks"

"We stayed overnight as we were going to a concert. We had a family room, although a great idea my teenager son was too tall for the bunk bed. They provided a camp bed for him. It was a decent size room, comfy bed and a decent shower!"

"Property was as described. Comfortable bed, clean, great location. The lady who checked us in was so helpful and very informative. Definitely a credit to her team 👍"
