I had the pleasure to stay at the Apex Hotel Bath for some three weeks through November and can honestly state that it was a most pleasurable, relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Of note was the hotel's breakfast room which always had a prompt and friendly manner of dealing with guests and an excellent, freshly cooked breakfast indeed. Another aspect of the hotel I genuinely appreciated was the pool and sauna facilities. I've stayed at many hotels around the world and often for long periods of time but the Apex bath's facilities were just about the cleanest and best run I have ever experienced. Kudos to those so responsible. The cleaning staff too, were particularly friendly and sensitive as to how they went about their duties. All in all, I can highly recommend the Apex Bath to anyone wanting accomodation in Bath and especially for those staying there for longer periods.

The hotel was really well located. The staff were very helpful. The complimentary drink was very welcome. The breakfast was excellent value. The gym was very good for hotel gym. We didn't use the pool but it looked good. We were staying for my dad's birthday - the hotel upgraded his room and left a birthday message and a small gift which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend a d visit again.

This is a good functional hotel , brilliantly situated in the centre of Bath . The staff were all excellent It was busy as it was NY , so things did not go as they should , lifts very busy , pre booking pool , but also to be out of the room from 10am , to get back at 4.30 and the room not cleaned and ready was disappointing . Guests should be aware that there is no car park so you have a five mins plus walk to park you car in an expensive car park , not an ideal spot when its pouring with rain and windy.

Over all the hotel did not live up to the Expedia VIP accreditation. The hotel room was run down and beds were very old and springy. The hotel seemed to be understaffed at check-in and the hotel bar. The value was very underwhelming for what I paid to stay at Apex. Definitely not a VIP Expedia Hotel
