"This was a beautiful old hotel, the staff tried very hard to accommodate and overcome any language barriers. The bar was small and cute and the heated pool and spa looked beautiful. Our room had no lifts only a narrow set of old stairs, that was a struggle with our luggage. The room itself was very noisy at night we both woke up on several occasions due to the sounds of the old building. "Great base for Bayeux and Normandy. Close to town centre and all attractions. Parking a bit tight but secure and convenient. Staff wonderful and service friendly. Breakfasts and dinners all good, although we had dinner in town most evenings. Rooms warm, well equipped and beds very comfortable. Bar worked well and well used with helpful service. Cannot fault it, made the short break a great experience. "

"Overall a good stay in a good location. My wife has mobility problems and we were unfortunately put into a first floor room needing her to walk up the spiral staircase which was rather slippery. The rooms are bijou and compact but OK for mostly just sleeping and showering in. The bed in 108 needs a new mattress! One of the main reasons for us booking here was the onsite EV charging which worked on our first night but then was out of order for the remainder of our 5 nights so we had to hunt down...

"The hotel was centrally located to the train station and the pick up for most tours. There were plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't have time for the spa but wish I did. It lookedd amazing. I highly recommend."
