"This was a beautiful old hotel, the staff tried very hard to accommodate and overcome any language barriers. The bar was small and cute and the heated pool and spa looked beautiful. Our room had no lifts only a narrow set of old stairs, that was a struggle with our luggage. The room itself was very noisy at night we both woke up on several occasions due to the sounds of the old building. Breakfasts and dinners all good, although we had dinner in town most evenings. Rooms warm, well equipped and beds very comfortable. Bar worked well and well used with helpful service. Cannot fault it, made the short break a great experience. "
