"The hotel had great staff. The common areas are nice and very well done. The only thing that prevented a 5 star rating was the very small and dated feel of the room we had. It felt more like staying at an aunt’s house than a hotel. It was our first time in the area, so I don’t know if that’s standard for the area. Given the very limited options in that area, the proximity to Omaha Beach, and the friendliness of the staff, would recommend, and stay again. "

"Lovely hotel. It’s very nice that they have a complimentary shuttle into town and a symbiotic relationship with their sister property in town, Le Normandy. Be sure to check out live piano music there on the weekend. Beware that they don’t speak any English at this property, which I found surprising for a four star. "

Note a lack of some basic supplies that would normally be expected (and would greatly improve the experience) for a short stay such as some basic coffee/tea/biscuit supplies in the room on arrival. I'd be happy to stay again though."
