"The property is a lovely converted convent blending old and new; the location is midway between old town (uphill) and the beach (downhill), so plan on getting a good number of steps in, since parking is challenging in both locations. The gym is less than I would like by US hotel standards, but adequate. The breakfast offerings are modest but again adequate. Power options in the room are European standard; there are no USB or USB-C ports in the walls, so bring your converters."

"From start to finish it was a lovely stay. We got into Begur late from the Bus and Jordi really accommodated this by sending a taxi and for the return journey too. Jordi was super helpful with everything and communicated so well. Aswell as the accommodation being in the most beautiful setting the accommodation was also very comfortable. I can’t reccomend this place enough. I will definately be returning to escape the Barcelona buzz! "

"We spent a week at the Hideaway and have to say it was very disappointing and we could not wait to leave. The house looked much better in the photos than in reality. It was very uncomfortable and quite dirty but more importantly too hot with only one fan for the entire house and no air conditioning - we asked the owner for some more more fans and he said no and that we should just open the windows! This is not a good solution with mosquitos, ants and flies and not what you expect when you have...

"The house had everything we could ask for and our hosts were very responsive when we highlighted a minor issue and organisation was great. The location is perfect a 10 min walk (uphill) into Begur and shopping/restaurants. Lovely beaches close by. The property is on several levels on a hillside with steps, may not be suited for people who have difficulty with stairs or very young children. We loved our stay."
