"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. "A night in a tent in a garden for £140 is a bit expensive specially for the quality of it. Floor uneven and cracked, and smelt a bit dump. Bathroom (in main house) is a bad design and water goes everywhere. We wanted to ask the owner questions, while they were in their private room, and as soon as we tried to get their attention, they went quiet and ignored us. They must have been able to hear me. I found it rude."

"A great country inn. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest. "
