"The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It is noted that this facility is very remote and “out in the middle of nowhere.” We used it as a base to get to Mt. Cook (~90 minute drive) which worked well for us. Finally the bar/restaurant was very convenient with good food. Recommend the facility for a quiet getaway"

"We were not sure what to expect with our stay here. It is mostly a holiday campground for tents and trailers, but they have 8 hotel rooms for rent. The room and bathroom were spacious with a well-equipped kitchenette. There was a nice patio with chairs and a cafe table. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. The campground personnel were helpful and friendly. The campground is on a lovely lake with hiking trails. Fishing is close by. The location is conveniently located...
