"We chose ryokan, and there is no attached bathroom for shower. You can either use the public bath or book the private onsen. My son sprained his ankle while visiting the attractions. When we went back to the hotel, the boss gave us ice wrapped in the towel to ice the swollen ankle, arranged with the hospital staff for an appointment with the doctor and called the cab. He even came to our room in the evening to check on us. All the staff were also helpful and friendly. 👍😊 Great breakfast 😋"

"Property decor was a little 70s retro, which was fun for us. That said, the property was clean. We got the half board package which included buffet dinner and lunch. Both had a wide selection of food and were good. Our room had great views of both mountain and sea. In the morning, we saw steam from the onsen in the mountain. Staff were friendly. "

"Close to the Beppu Station which was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hana Beppu. They were very welcoming and helpful. Very clean with spacious rooms. Food was very good at the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"Recommended for a relaxing stay in beautiful Beppu. We had a yakiniku just a few blocks away and enjoyed the rooftop pool, sauna and authentic Onsen experience. It’s a beautiful hotel and spot. We will be back. My only gripe was the limited GF options for breakfast. It would be great to have an omelette station or plain (unseasoned) hard boiled eggs and more fruit. "

"Had a lovely one-night staybat the resort. Enjoyed our private onsen and the many amenities the room offered (including no less than 4 different types of slippers :) for various uses. Breakfast selection was really good, with both a Japanese and Western spread. Would have loved to stay another night and discover Beppu a bit more."

"An excellent choice of hotels. Friendly staff helped with every question. Cleaning staff are very thorough. Excellent location. Right across from bus to airport. Onsen on site. Laundry and vending machines on the 6th floor. Close to the ocean. 2 minute walk from Beppu tower. They made accommodations for a bicycle to be stored. I was going to rent a bike for a few days, but settled for 5 hours. Quiet, comfortable. Best sleep of the trip so far! Well done Nishitetsu Beppu! Well done. Thank you!! ❤️❤️🍻"
