"Excellent luxury spa hotel. Very helpful and attentive service. Excellent food in Charlie’s. Also enjoyed the lunchtime bar food and many fine touches around the hotel. Enjoyed the heated pool and spa. Special thanks to the young woman who welcomed us at check in and to James from Sunderland for keeping us entertained in the whisky bar despite his injury. Room very nice. All round excellent stay in the Scottish Borders "

"A very comfy room and the few staff we met were great. Breakfast was excellent and Heather was a gem! A bit disappointing that the hotel is closed apart from the rooms and breakfast service. It’s not that evident when you book so maybe they should make it more obvious. Parking was free in the car park 100 yds away but only for 24hrs at a time. So we parked there through the day and then moved the car to the street outside the hotel which has free parking from 17:30 to 09:00. Our only concern was the fact one person left the front door open twice and with no staff at the hotel we felt a little vulnerable. We would stay again though. "

"Stayed at the White Swan several times before and I always try to book in when in the area. It's a very homely little hotel, the staff are lovely and the cooked breakfast is an excellent way to get your day started. There's a country pub as well, which is great for a few drinks in the evening. "

"Warm greeting from Alison set the tone for this delightful small hotel. A cosy room with a comfy bed, great shower and a fantastic view over the sea. It's a fair way from restaurants so you need to drive into Berwick where there are great places to choose from. We had a great Turkish meal at Mavi. Highly recommend this hotel. "
