"Room was lovely and clean. Brand new bathroom. Rest of room could do with updating but room was spotless. I had one of the rooms that opened to outside. The door was a little drafty was the only downside so had to turn the heating upto max to stay warm. But would 100% stay again."

"My family and I had an amazing weekend, we had a small child and 2 dogs with us and everything was great. The lounge area was stunning, this is where we had drinks and breakfast. The Townhouse we stayed in was absolutely stunning and actually looked so much better in person, the photos didn't do the place justice. We will definitely be back! "

"Don't waste any time. This is the place. Perfect grounds and classic structures. Great restaurant! Chef over-heard me ask about where was 'the local spot" for the best cottage pie. He made it special for me that night for dinner. It was the "Shakespeare of Cottage Pies. "This is a great pub, in a lovely location. Rooms are delightful and the manager/staff helpful and approachable without being overbearing. We dined in the chalet in the evening and the pizzas were marvellous, as was the wine. The breakfast was also fantastic. This was our second visit and we are already planning another!"

Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham, an IHG Hotel

"The location is fantastic, on the high street with so many restaurants and shops on its doorstep. Our room was comfortable bug enough for 3 adults. The only thing I would say is the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable, you could feel the springs as you turned. And alsi recommend changing the kettles from metal to plastic as my roommate burned herself using it. The breakfast was amazing with such a good selection "

"The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and spacious, lots of choices for diners. Breakfast was buffet style, very varied and the view from the dining windows looked over the grounds. All in all, an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend. "

Excellent weekend break

"Had an excellent 2 night break. No delays or issues checking in, friendly greeting, everything was explained. Room was clean, tidy and bigger than expected. We ate in the restaurant in the evening - food was delicious, great service made it a lovely relaxing experience. Breakfast the next day was good, no shortage of choice and freshly cooked buffet and continental food. One issue - one of 2 coffee machines was broken (these things happen), the other on a go slow, so there were queues which could have been better managed, worked around"
