The space
The cottage is fully equipped with all essentials.The kitchen has integrated appliances including dishwasher and washer dryer. The lounge has a wood-burner (logs not included) & plenty of seating for everyone.
Lundy Seaview is great for families, couples, or a friendly get together. The kitchen diner has fabulous views over Lundy island and fantastic views of the sun sets to enjoy. The lounge is furnished with marine blue and costal colours. Log burner to enjoy on the colder nights. Logs not included. Views of the sea and great sunsets to enjoy any time of the day. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, the master has a large kingsize bed, with a lounging area, smart tv and en-suite. The views from the master room are delightful, just wow! sea views. The bunk beds are solid with adult single size mattresses and views of the rear garden. The double room with 2 single beds has a smart tv and fabulous sea views. There is a main bathroom also on the first floor with views of garden. The garden Patio just out of the kitchen/lounge area. Leading to the hot tub via steps to the first floor with seating. The hot tub is a fantastic state of the art modern 80 plus jets with LED lighting. Lawn area leading to top patio area. The garden is very spacious. There are fabulous sea views from all of the front rooms of the cottage and the top patio to enjoy and make some wonderful memories. Lundy SeaView is next door to Lundy Lookout. So if you are a large family or a larger group and there is availability to suit, one may book both properties - maximum of 12 guests between the two. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the cottage. And a 3 minute drive to the beach. Families with young children please note when booking with children the garden does have steps. Maximum occupancy is 6 persons this includes infants.
Westward Ho! offers an array of seaside amenities, quaint streets, colourful architecture and fascinating curiosity shops. The beach in front of the development is known as the Golden Bay, whilst the South West Coastal Path also runs through Westward Ho! – a must for keen cyclists and walkers - plus swimming, surfing, canoeing and fishing are all close by. The Tarka Trail is also in close proximity, providing the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line amidst some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery.
For visitors seeking a piece of Devon life then the towns of Barnstaple and Bideford provide the opportunity to wander during their weekly pannier markets with a host of local produce and crafts on offer. Nearby we have the Big Sheep and Milky Way, great fun for younger families. North Devon wakeboard park is a half an hour drive. The cottage is located in a great spot to visit other local beaches such as Staunton sands, Croyde, Putsbourgh and Woolecombe.
On our door step is The Royal North Devon Golf Club rightly claim to be the cradle of English Golf. Founded in 1864, it is the oldest golf course in the country and is regarded as the St Andrews of the South. The golf course is as tough as any of the UK’s more famous links layouts and has recently been placed in Golf World 's "Top 100 Courses in the World" that a golfer “must play”.

Lundy Seaview is the perfect place to stop if you are looking at travelling to other local beaches such as Saunton Sands, Crodye or a day out to Woolacombe and so close to other An idyllic coastal retreat, perfectly situated in an elevated position taking advantage of far reaching views over Westward Ho! Beach, Bideford Bay, the Bristol Channel and towards Lundy Island. A short walk to the picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho!, known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park. The beach offers lots of free entertainment for children whether it is looking in the rock pools, playing in the surf, building sand castles or flying kites. The village also has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, amusements and also a championship golf course. There is much to see and do in the area with attractions which include The Big Sheep, (5 minute drive) The Milky Way, (15/20 minute drive) The Wake Board Park (15/20 minute drive and Watermouth Castle.
