"A modernised small terraced house with steep stairs and small kitchen in a good location. Some minor niggles like loose toilet seat, stiff door lock and scraping bathroom door. A few more basic supplies like salt and kitchen roll would have helped plus a non-slip mat in the bathroom. "

"A very handy location with easy on-street parking right in front of the house. Well-equipped kitchen with complimentary, quality coffee and tea. Clean, up-to-date bathroom and towels with quality complimentary shampoo and shower gels. Comfortable master bedroom (as in photo) with good quality mattress, though the other two bedrooms had much lower beds which had less comfortable mattresses. Overall, accommodation was fine for a family of four, though there was no wardrobe hanging space available...

"13 ladies all had a fabulous time from start to finish. Fantastic place to unwind and forget about home life for a few days. The beds were so comfortable. House was amazing!! Loved every minute of our stay would highly recommend to family and group bookings!!"

"This property is in the perfect location to explore all of York on foot. Jane & Stephen were such thoughtful hosts and made us feel welcome in this cozy home. All we had to do was enjoy everything York has to offer, all within walking distance. We were so comfortable in this home and if we are fortunate to return to York, we would definitely stay here again."

"We had a great 2 night stay. The space is charming and comfortable. It was great to come back to a quiet, residential neighborhood. But it's close enough to everything you want to see that you can easily walk to it and do it. Highly recommended."

"We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund."
