His words ( the best he’s ever seen ) he’s now retired but his job was a fire prevention officer with the fire brigade. "A peaceful stay over a number of days at this property. The restaurant was great with delicious food. I would have liked to see a change in menu over the days so opportunity for more variety. The mattress could do with replacing. Room was warm."

"We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 6 days in early October. The cottage, although very compact, has everything you need, and more. The hosts have really thought of everything when it comes to facilities for your dogs. The secure exercise field was an absolute favourite with Nougat and Sully, our two bull terriers, they were just so excited to go in there each morning, and last thing each day. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business. The day kennels, although we didnt use them, are an added bonus. The cottage is situated in a great location, so many dog friendly places to visit, all around 30 minutes drive, some of the roads going out of the property are very narrow but asits Cornwall,its kind of what you expect. We visited a few beaches, the Eden project, and the lost gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock House and Gardens, all of which are dog friendly and we would highly recommend. Caroline left us a nice bottle of red and some scones,on our arrival, which was a nice surprise and greatfully received. We will definitely be back as this has been a wonderful break for both us and our dogs. "
