"We booked 3 nights in a hotel apartment. The first night we spent in a small room and it was not the same apartment we booked, the reception closes at 1pm so we couldn't do anything. The next day we spoke to the only receptionist there who couldn't speak English and was using a translation app, she admitted the mistake and promised to try to exchange the room for an apartment or deduct the city tax which is a very small amount! Fortunately they were able to change rooms but due to lack of time...

"Clean, spacious room with amazing view up the street and Werningerode Schloss so very close upon the hill. V good breakfast and a lovely small sauna you can reserve a time for private use. We appreciated a break from the larger city hotels in Hamburg and Berlin to stay in a small cozy bnb style environment. You can step right out the door to shopping and food. The staff was v sweet and we wished we had more time here. Highly recommend! "

"Smukke omgivelser og nyrenoverede værelser. En let lugt af mug i opgangen. Værten var irriterende og vi skulle høre på alle hans problemer med overtagelse af hotellet. Der var ingen restaurant, som ellers angivet og skiltet med på stedet. Da vi kom retur til aften var der ingen mulighed for at købe kaffe eller andet. Baren var lukket. Ingen mulighed på værelset for at lave kaffe eller tage en vand. Angivet med 10 stjerner - det kan ikke passe. Morgenmad ok. En skam med de smukke omgivelser."
