"The stairs were a little tough but staff took our luggage up and down. There was no air conditioning but the air outside was cool enough to bring the room temperature down with the windows open. The place was charming with a beautiful setting. It was very enjoyable!"

Located near the Braemar Highland Games Center, the location is quiet but close to both the center of the village and the Dee River. We particularly enjoyed the summer evenings spent in the large beautiful backyard."

"The Braemar Youth hostel might be the most charming and lovely hostel I’ve stayed at. The location is peaceful and the facility itself is comfortable and cozy. This hostel has a great lounge, large kitchen with all the essential utensils, and the staff are so accommodating and pleasant. "
