"We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. The Otroiza hotel is a perfect location to base one's self while exploring this magical spot. The only criticisms to make are that the bar staff are somewhat amateurish and the food in the restaurant is very limited in choice and poor in quality by Réunion standards. However, on Sunday evening there is very little choice as almost all restaurants in the city are closed."

"Well appointed, clean and charming little place with extremely comfortable beds. Was a delight to rest there after a very long day of exploring the island. Sylvette (the owner) was kind enough to wait for me after a late arrival due to flight delays, but it is important to communicate with the hotel if you’re going to be late as the reception closes at 8pm (it’s a quiet, isolated and sleepy little town). All in all, great experience with very friendly, laid-back but courteous service. Many public amenities and facilities located within walking distance from the hotel and staff are happy to recommend them. "
