Great stay!!!

Great stay again in this lovely pub in lovely location. Good size beer garden. Food very good and reasonable prices. Accommodation is a good standard and lovely breakfast ready in the room for the morning.

Great find

Great Pub with great food and a really comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was a help your self in the room which worked fine. I took it out to the garden which was lovely. I'll come back for sure

Lovely Pub Accommodation

We just stayed for a night but the room was really nice, spacious and clean. They pub provides breakfast which you can make in your room (cereal, muesli, toast etc) which worked for us. Staff were really friendly and helpful, the pub itself is lovely and cosy on a cold winter's night.

Excellent rooms away from the pub itself. Very comfortable with breakfast supplied in the room. Furnished to a very high standard. The food in the pub and gardens is also very good.

Fantastic place to stop

This place is fantastic, my fourth visit this year. First class food with lovely clean rooms and bathroom with wonderful fluffy towels. All the time looked after by happy smiling friendly people. Well done everyone.

Quite a self-contained stay. I received instructions as to how to get to my room which was in the adjoining building to the pub. It was a lovely deluxe room with plenty of space allowing me to get some admin work done beflore relaxing. They had a fridge with plenty of items to choose from for the continental breakfast. The shower was pretty good and the bed very comfortable. There were dining options on site but also other choices not too far away. A very friendly place and great way to spend an overnight stay.

The Anchor Inn was a lovely old style pub/restaurant . Food was lovely, the beer was great. Sat in the bar with the l9cals and laugh at the banter between them. Breakfast was kept fresh in the fridge in your room. Ready for you woke in the a.m. Loved my stay wouldvrecommend it to anyone. Staff were friendly cracking place

Slept on Cloud 9.... priceless.

I need to say i had the best sleep i have slept in many hotels, guest houses and inns, ove the years. The sleep i had was amazing. Infact if i could have foldered the room up an put it in my packet i would have, my dinner was delicious and the staff incredibly helpful. Thank you all for a great night sleep.
