Sadly, the Nest did not live up to its description and the owner was less than hospitable. There was no satellite TV. She told us it had broken that week. Other reviews (seen too late) on other sites showed me that it had been broken for at least a year. The wifi worked only outside, at the back door or in a corner of the attic. "The Carriage House was perfect for the two of us. It was clean, cozy, and well furnished. The location is within a few blocks of the 5 Points restaurants, grocery store. The hosts are welcoming and friendly."

"What a lovely little property - it had all we needed for our stay in St Malo. Ideally situated for 20 minute walk to the old town, the kitchen was very well equipped, the sofa bed was comfortable to sit on downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice surprise to be provided with bedding, towels and soap. The only downside for us - as we are both over 60 was the steep staircase (which was clearly pictured) - but we did get used...

"A comfortable, cosy and well equipped cottage. We really enjoyed our stay here and found it very relaxing. It was lovely to see the boats come and go on the river from the cottage windows and outside from the garden when it was warm enough! Loads to see and do around the whole area, look forward to another visit."
