"Lovely place but the spa wasn’t good. Too small and you are misled on the facilities. The gym, changing rooms and pool were tiny and tired. Nowhere to relax. However the hotel was lovely. Needs another bar/lounge. The grounds and the area were beautiful! Staff excellent and beautifully trained. A few stood out…Darren and Tom in the bar, Tom Ly and Maria in the reception and Jerry at breakfast were memorable for their excellent service/manner. "

"This was my third stay at Careys Manor and it was just as good as I remembered. The building is beautiful and the team is very welcoming and friendly, there is a real family atmosphere amongst them. The Sen Spa facilities are 10/10, and the treatments are amazing - pure relaxation and I looked 10 years younger after my facial. Highly recommended! "

"Quaint cottage and staff were polite. The room we stayed in was nice and bright. There was a very bad damp problem in the en suite especially above the shower, not just on the ceiling but the shower sealant was all black and the bottom of the shower door had not even been cleaned of all the mould. The shower was very powerful and water hot. Skirting of the bedroom was missing exposing the gap between floor and ceiling. Although there was radiator heating the thermostat was loose and difficult...

"Everything about The Old Bank House was exceptional. The house is beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. At the same time we were made to feel comfortable and welcome to enjoy the space without any restrictions. The bedrooms were all good sized with very comfy beds. It’s ideally located in the village centre, with easy and convenient parking. And the host, Matthew, was very accommodating and responsive. I can’t recommend this property more highly - book it if you can! "

"The cottage was much bigger than expected, extremely clean yet still very cosy The open planned layout of the kitchen and the dining room overlooking the garden is a fabulous social space. And the sitting room with the log burner is very comfortable and spacious. It's a very lovely cottage in an ideal location ... really quiet at night. We could not have wished for more"
