"Had such a great time staying here for a romantic anniversary trip away. The check self check in was simple and easy, plenty of parking right by our room. The room itself was so lovely, and we enjoyed the additional organic breakfast items we had available to us for a quick meal before heading out. "We spent 4 nights at Hermitage lodge in the Hunter valley. We had a duplex lodge with a full kitchen, living room, separate upstairs bedroom and bathroom, and balconies on both levels. Everything was immaculate. The location was perfect for visiting the vineyards and town of Cessnock. The lodge looked out over a small vineyard with a forested backdrop. I would definitely recommend Hermitage lodge as a place to stay in the Hunter valley."

"Very peaceful and clean little bungalow! Only wishing the room had a mini bar and some snacks. Bit of warning for incoming visitors in the warmer months, that there's the odd Brown snake around. Didn't venture down to the pond, just stayed on the deck :)"

"All was wonderful except the non flexible check in. We had an event to get to and even though the host was on site for an hour prior to our check-in time they wouldn’t let us in until 1pm sharp which was when our event started. Otherwise a beautiful location with kangaroos visiting near our verandah. "

"While the motel is on the highway, the sound proofing is excellent and traffic noise was not an issue. Very clean and comfortable. I’d certainly stay there again."
