"Would say that this is a fine place to stay. Room was small but fine. Balcony but nothing to sit on. The room was not swept well so some debris on the floor which was also true of the halls. The mice traps around the hallways also didn’t set a great tone. I think they are just opening so time will tell. "

"Had a couples weekend staycation here in February. Great location and lovely staff. The hotel needs some updates and it seems like they're in the process of making them. I look forward to returning when things are better sorted. "

"Been to this hotel several times and it’s always been a great experience. Friendly staff, very clean, great breakfast. Neighborhood is a little rough and industrial, but don’t let that deter you. Hotel is next to a police station and the street is fully lit, so I always felt safe leaving my car there. Next subway stop is a bit of a hike but also not terrible. You can’t do any better for value for cost. "

"Nice hotel in Sunset Park, comfortable bed and view of Manhattan. Rooms have window that opens for fresh air… microwave and mini fridge. Nice bathroom and clean. Only complaint is the “parking lot” has maybe 8 spaces for the entire hotel. Obviously they were all taken, but we found street parking easily. Would stay again! "

"Front desk & housekeeping staff were great, answered any questions I had and fulfilled any housekeeping requests I needed. Room was modern and tidy when checking in with convenient access to the J train a very short walk away. Would definitely book here again for any Brooklyn trips."

"Loved my stay at The Penny Williamsburg! Accommodating and amazing staff. The room felt very homey and it was a great experience overall - not really a big deal that the “mini couch” had chlorine stains which was understandable. Great area to be in as there are cafes and restaurants that are walking distance. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in town!"
