"I was most concerned when I saw reviews about lack of communication with the owner and a confusing check in process, because I've had a few negative experiences with that. Please be assured that the check in process was clear and smooth. The building is historic and has been through some things over the years, and it shows on the interior. However, the room is fully renovated and so clean, with some original details lovingly preserved. The room I had was much larger than the photos made it...

"The apartment and building were great, and the host was great to work with and communicate with! Lovely clean building and apartment. It’s a bit far from a subway station, but Citi bikes are right around the corner. We would definitely stay again."

"Overall the stay was great. I would suggest the small couch be replaced. It was like sitting on rods very uncomfortable and the coffee table was very unstable and the glass kept sliding around."

"This property is in a great location. The property itself is old but tidy and the stairs to the loft are difficult to navigate (the roof in the loft is low too, lucky I was short). The sheets were worn, the bed cover had stains and the entry to the property is not well looked after The toilet overflowed one morning and was fixed later that day. "

"Convenient location close to the subway. We appreciated having a little space and a table in the apartment, but spent most of our time out. Being in the city that never sleeps it was fairly loud in the bedrooms at the front of the property but got used to it after the first night. Some of the furnishings are a little tired but that was no problem for us. Victoria was really communicative and it was easy to check into the property."

"We were in town for a work event so it was close to everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable (this is huge 😂). You do hear people in the hallway and street noise so if that may bother you - bring ear plugs and eye covers. Was super helpful for us. The restaurants nearby were so great. We enjoyed our stay and glad we found this apt. "

"Enjoyed our stay. Slept well in comfortable beds. Would say that the owners should add a bit of decor (pictures on walls, lamps for lighting) to make the place more welcoming. But place was clean and quiet. Slept 3 people comfortably"

"We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. We came to NY for the US Open. While the home met the needs of our group, it was not as easy to get to the tennis center as we had hoped. That being said, it was a nice place."
