"We had a great stay at the hotel on Rivington. Close to our daughter's apartment in the LES and tons of restaurants and bars. Area is lively with young people but also pretty dirty. There is no area to be dropped off in front of the hotel so that is a little inconvenient. They are renovating and the lobby, restaurant and bar are great! "Hard to speak of it because oddly enough I did not end up staying there. You see, the hotel was fully booked when we arrived despite us making reservations. But thankfully, the guy (Frankie) at the front desk was kid and helpful and solution-oriented enough to put as at a second hotel owned by same owner 2 blocks away that was far better for the original cost!
