"Outside in f the hotel as soon as you walk out it was dirty full of trash and homeless individuals begging and bothering you. I was holding a designer bag and still gave money to one of them and he yelled out with that bag that’s all you pay you cheap, for that reason I would stay somewhere else next time. "

"The Chelsea Savoy is older but charming - loved the bagels and muffins included in our breakfast every morning - great coffee too! The staff was very prompt and friendly with our requests, as well. The Chelsea area where the Savoy is located is fantastic - loved the arts community and great family owned restaurants surrounding the Savoy, as well. Will definitely stay there again when we return to New York! "

"Hotel was good, clean enough and nice enough, nothing too special. I was disappointed by the service. When I arrived at check-in time, a room was not ready. I was polite, and asked them to just let me know when it was ready, and took at seat in the lobby about 10 feet away from the desk. I expected that they would indeed let me know when it was ready, but they didn't, they proceeded to then check in the next dozen people who came in, and made me wait in line. That was disappointing."
