"We spent 10 wonderful days at The Verandah Resort. I previously stayed here 11 years ago and have always wanted to return and we were not disappointed. The setting amongst 30 acres of lush tropical gardens is simply spectacular. The rooms are all semi detached villa suites set amongst the gardens. We booked a Waterfront Suite which gave amazing views over the bay. Sitting on the balcony in the early morning and evening watching the pelicans and other bird life were priceless times of the day....

"Stayed for a week in March… Couldn’t ask for more. Spotless accommodations, very spacious with lots of modern amenities and private parking. Spent relaxing mornings on the porch enjoying the gorgeous gardens. And of course, the pool! About 5 mins from the beach and tourist attractions. Everything you need to stay in and relax or go in and out safely. I really enjoyed my stay. Can’t recommend enough. Host was pleasant and helpful."

"We rented unit D I believe, which is at the bottom past the pool. It is the closest to the water. This is a studio with a comfortable queen bed. The bathroom is lovely with a peek a boo view of the water- nice treat. At night with all the lights off you can see so many stars and the moon perfectly. "Nicely remote, very open house, beautiful pool, comfortable beds. No ice maker in the fridge but our escort to the house told us that so we bought ice. The house does not have air condoning which we knew when we made the reservation but we didn't know we would have extreme heat during our visit which made us very hot and unable to escape the heat.
